4. Storage and Protection

4.1 Data storage

- Storage location: Service data that we store is held on servers in China. Third-party map providers process data under their own privacy policies; this statement does not describe their storage locations.

- Retention period: We retain service data while you use the service and for any period required by law. Third-party providers apply their own retention practices.

This service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you discover that we have collected a minor's information, please contact us immediately.

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 Sign in with Apple

7.2 Amap

We use Amap to display maps in the China edition and to provide address suggestions and reverse geocoding in the global edition. These features may send locations or search terms to Amap. See the Amap Privacy Policy (https://lbs.amap.com/pages/privacy/) for details.

7.3 Google Maps

The global iOS edition uses the Google Maps SDK to display maps. The SDK connects to Google's servers to load map content and may process map locations and usage information. See the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) for how Google handles information.

8. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through:

- Push notifications

- Email notices (if you have provided an email address)

An updated policy takes effect when published. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

Website: launch notifications

When you sign up for the launch notification on paralife.ai, we collect the email address you enter, your chosen language and the submission time. Your email is used for the signup receipt and PARA Life launch notification, and is never sold or shared for third-party marketing. No confirmation email action is required.

When optional human verification is enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile processes device and network signals to prevent automated abuse. The service is not loaded when disabled. We store limited security metadata and a keyed suppression identifier to prevent repeated unwanted emails. Use the cancellation link in your signup email to stop future notifications. To request access or deletion, contact privacy@para-life.com. Cancellation pages do not load analytics.

Website: visitor analytics

When website analytics is enabled, we use self-hosted Umami to understand page views, referral sources, downloads, language changes and signup conversions. We do not currently analyze visitor countries, regions or cities. IP addresses are used only to generate anonymous visit identifiers and are not stored in the Umami database.

Analytics uses no tracking cookies and collects no email addresses, signup or cancellation tokens, or form contents. Page addresses retain only public paths and approved campaign parameters; referrers retain only the domain. Cancellation pages do not load analytics. Enable Do Not Track (DNT) in your browser or turn analytics off on this website’s privacy page in this browser. Browsing and signup remain available.
